The Large exists for the pets the Medium cannot hold: a long cat, a heavy cat, a small dog with a deep chest. At 20 x 13 x 13 in outside, it holds a pet within 18 x 12 x 12 in and up to 25 lb. It is not designed for airplane cabins, so think of it as your car and vet carrier, the one that rides on the floor behind a front seat.
The floor is the same three-layer mat as on the Medium, a wood board under foam and fleece, so a heavy pet does not sag the bottom when you lift it by the strap. Mesh on four sides keeps air moving on a summer drive, and the top opening lets you lift your pet out at the vet without tipping the carrier on its end.
These come from one shelf of the Henkelion line: pet carriers and litter box.
Questions
About Henkelion large pet carriers
How heavy can your pet be for the Henkelion large carrier?
Up to 25 lb, with a body within 18 x 12 x 12 in. Measure your pet's length and height as well as the weight.
Can you fly with the Henkelion large carrier?
Not in the cabin. The Large is designed for car trips, the vet and everyday travel. For the cabin, your pet has to fit the Medium.
Will the bottom of the Henkelion large carrier sag under your pet?
The mat on the floor sits on a wood board, so the bottom stays flat under a heavy pet when you carry it by the strap.
